iSMILE Meal Program Objectives
The i.SMILE Meal Program for Seniors has two main objectives.

(1) To address the health, social, economic, and environmental needs of those elderly citizens who are physically, cognitively, or emotionally unable to consistently prepare or cook meals on their own. ​
​
(2) To reduce isolation and create a sense of community by providing meals and social interaction to enhance the quality of life for our elders.

​​Note any allergies or dietary restrictions. We work to accommodate most preferences.
Weekly Meal Delivery
If accepted, receive a complete homemade meal (entree, side, and dessert) delivered to your door every Friday afternoon at no cost!
Eat & Repeat
Enjoy your meal!

The Origins of iSmile
The iSMILE Meal Delivery Program for Seniors originated from a medical situation with Common Ground Café’s Executive Director’s 95-year-old father, Mr. Isaac (pictured on right).
Thankfully Mr. Isaac recovered; however, his medical scare was the catalyst for Common Ground Café to develop a meal delivery program for underserved and marginalized seniors that would not only seek to provide hot nourishing meals, but also reduce food waste, decrease feelings of isolation, improve socialization and positively impact the community economics. ​​

​The iSMILE Meal Delivery Program for Seniors began in June 2023 with 20 seniors enrolled in the program. Currently, there are 160+ seniors enrolled in the program!
